V Collection 12?

Well, Pigments has been updated and FX6 came out. There has been an increase in advertising and promotions for V Collection 11. My Spidey sense is telling me, as it’s been a year since V Collection 11 was released, that V12 is imminent.

What do you think and what would you like to see?

Me: Spark 3 of course. A Korg MS2000 would be great as would a Yamaha CS30.

Keep those requests coming, always good to hear suggestions for future products.

A felt piano for Piano V3 and maybe an una corda. Spark3, of course. I don’t need any other synth at this point in time, but that’s only me. What’s not in the V Collection i have from GForce and Moog.

Probably towards the end of this year, but I’m surprised no new individual instruments have been released yet since VC11 came out. So maybe it will be even longer?

I don’t have any specific V Collection thoughts; I just want an algorithmic FM engine added to Pigments!

I’ve been noticing this pattern too, though I feel it’s more likely to be a new synth will get dropped soon, not a whole bundle. Simply because that has been their past approach.

Not that they can’t change how they do things at any time, I just think its unlikely.

I would like to see a new modular synth from Arturia. Which can use all oscilators and filters modules from all synths that Arturia created (even sampled one and access to all samples). + basic oscilators and filters for those which don’t own a Collection V XX or don’t have any synth. And don’t forget for modern lfo and modules ( I mean like MSEGs, LFOs, Combs from Pigments and arpegiator)

And also, new Drum Machine or Spark 3

A S/W resurrection of the Arturia Origin?

That would be pretty massive.

Never heard about Arturia Origin. I googled for info and videos. It looks amazing. I wonder why they stop with it. It looks futuristic and ahead of time (the oldest video I found is from 19 years ago). I can imagine it today as 16 multitimbral HW synth, with more modules (granular, wavetable from Pigments it will replace Virtus TI 2). And use it in connection with PC as VSTi and connected audio via USB, with good price, it will be much appealing then their todays analog synths :), at least for me.

Hi all,

For a long time i’ve wished for upgrading some of the old plugins.
For example ARP 2600 V with for example a original bidirectional Electronic switch, preamp sound including the 10x, 100x, and 1000x settings, and Ring Mod DC and Audio settings.
And for example Modular V with for example a true Fixed Filter Bank and improved sequencer and ratcheting behavior.

I would like a Roland JX-10 with it’s unique Chase feature that i have never seen in any other synths. So not a JX-8. JX-10 has such a smooth sound. Especially for certain Pad sounds. Nothing like it i think.

Beside that there are many synth i would like to have.

My first criteriums for new additions are to get something that sonically expand Arturias sound palette and/ or add some functionality or features that’s not available now.
For example Yamaha VL 1 would qualify and be great to have in V-Collection. So would PPG Wave 2.

I think Arturia have already decided long ahead on what to do and add to V-Collection.

Creating modules of every individual section in all Arturias synths for a Arturia modular framework is a huge task.

You reminded me of the Oberheim OB12 I owned and sold twice. Not quite analog but not quite digital. It always fascinated me and looked stunning. I loved the 4 layer engine approach - sort of like a JD800 - another synth I once owned and sold.

The plugin synth market is starting to get a little crowded and there are multiple companies selling the same synth. For instance, I have 3 MS20s and 3 ARP 2600, 2 SEMs and 2 Juno 60s. Luckily, there are plenty of synths yet to be released as plugins.

Spark 3, Orgine 2, Korg 01/WFD, Eminent 310 U.

A hardware Spark 3 would be amazing.

That would be really cool, but I doubt it.

I still wonder what additions will be made in V Collection 12.

I want to see a new VST Drum Machine / BeatBox / Spark 3

WE ALL want to see this! :+1::sunglasses::+1:

I’d like to see them re-write some of their oldest synths whose s/q is now out of date compared to their newer emulations. Synths like the 2600V and Modular V have had UI refreshes but behind the UI is the same tired code from nearly 20 years ago, while the Prophet, CS80V and Mini V, whose origins as Arturia VST are as equally old, have enjoyed very beneficial audio-engine refreshes in recent releases.

Spark 3 but I hold no hope of that at all.

New synths? What I really want, I’m not going to get. Because what I really want is a D50 clone. But Roland are unlikely to licence their headline vintage synth to Arturia to emulate when they want to rent you their own emulation as part of Roland Cloud.

Yes synths like D-50 and JD-800 will require Rolands PCM samples.
JX-10 did not use PCM samples and it’s not emulated by anyone yet.

EDIT: Perhaps Ensoniq TS-12 is a possible alternative to D-50, M1 and such. EDIT END

Yamaha SY99.

Korg Wavestation.
Octave Cat (with the CatStick module) and Voyetra.
Sequential Pro 1.
PolyMoog.
Arp Odyssey (yea, I know there are like 80 of them already out there but it needs the Arturia DNA and inclusion in Analog lab.)
360 Systems Keyboard before there are none of them out there working with all the EPROM banks to be modeled; that was a historic instrument.
Stylophone.
Whatever was the top of the line Yamaha combo organ.
Roland MKS-70 and MKS-80.

Maxibrute?!?

Maxifreak?

V Collection releases are typically every 2 years or so. (At least I hope this continues to be true as I just purchased V 11 Pro earlier this week.)
