V Collection 12?

I never heard of the Spark before.

Color me intrigued.

Hi There,
To keep on the lofi journey, I would suggest an emulation of the Ensoniq Mirage. It’s a 8 bits sampler with great analog filters, a lot of character and an unbelievable crunchy sound. Watch the video here https://youtu.be/CJR0eMg16zQ?is=iaNp_75sdQCO8YT9
Also, Korg Mono/Poly and Korg Polisix with its famous ensemble effect have both a specific identity.
Cheers

I like your train of thought but I can’t see them doing more organs. They’ve done the obligatory Hammond, but I don’t think they’ll do others because the interest in them would be too tiny. But let’s say they did, my choice would be one of:

  • Yamaha MC600
  • Yamaha HX-1 (ELP used this entensively)
  • Yamaha HS-8
  • Technics U90
  • Farfisa Buckingham
  • Elka X705 (used by Jean-Michel Jarre on Magnetic Fields)
  • Elka E49

I was in a band with a guy who had one of the smaller ones, nice black and white motif. I ill never forget the look on his face when I turned on the Manual Vibrato and he heard me playing with that… “How are you doing that?” “Just turn on this switch and wiggle the keys side to side…” Long pause… “bitchen”. Thanks to Anthony Marinelli for showing me that trick on his!
More love for Elka would be good, had an Elka piano in my band once… I have to get into the SynthX V now that I have it.

Hello,

can you tell me if there is an equivalent with this synthesizer Paraphonic 505 in the collection.

I heard that it was used by Vangelis before the CS80.

Thank in avance.

An interesting synth. It apparently sold alongside the Jupiter 4. There is a plugin: XILS 505 – xils-lab

There is no direct equivalent, but I suppose, in the Arturia ecosystem, a combination could be derived from Minimoog (bass), Juno6 (synth) and Solina (strings). Failing that, there are sample packs out there so the Emulator or CMI would come to mind.

Nice video of it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-oITC12AXU&t=1s

Thank You @Funtmaster for the info

It is also sold as a VST at Soundpaint,
I would prefer to have it at Arturia.

Maybe it will be offered one day, otherwise thank you for the message.

Have a good day.
Musical friendship.

The Soundpaint on is based on samples and weighs in at 21Gb. Personally, I am not a lover of sample based recreations.

Mince, ils viennent de sortir un nouveau Augmented (Persia) sic.
Heureusement Cherry Audio est là pour nous créer pleins de bons vieux synthés analogiques

With all our speculations earlier, hands up if you guessed the next instrument would be another Augmented Series…?!? :upside_down_face:

Nope. Although I am it a great fan of them, this one has some rather nice patches that in just used in a track.

Seeing as my upgrade from V-Collection X to V-Collection 11 is $299…

I’m guessing this is the end of my V-Collection journey.
I love Arturia, but that is simply insane, for me.

I have the new SEM and the majority of the Augmented Series already. (not sure why they are even listed as “new”)

That’s sounds a little high I would contact them to see if they can reduce it, especially as you love the product.

LOL, if you knew me better, you’d know love was a dead end. LMAO

I’d like to see a Rhodes Chroma.
