Please make a MatrixBrute connect plugin! or at the least a dedicated editor. Preferably with editing of patterns and matrix routings. Maybe something like SoundTower’s editors for Moog,Sequential, and DSI with program “genetics” and controlled randomizations.
yes its frustrating that polybrute users can recal there sound in the daw and the matrixbrute user are completely left out.
this would make life so much easier !
HI @Pastiche27
I’ve relisted this as a Feature Request for you so it’s more likely to be seen by The Arturia Devs.
HTH!
Hello !
One MatrixBrute user did a VST editor which is working great !
I think it could be used to do what you want
Cheers !
I bought it. It does not pass current validation tests in several DAWs. Functionality is not the same.
These “editors” (there are more), are just CC remotes. They can control most of the knobs on the MxB, but the buttons and matrix/sequencer can’t be controlled.
There’s no patch management, other than switching patches (just normal program change CCs).
Oh, and if you use Cubase and want to see what a CC panel is like, this one is free.
Since we’re talking about this, there’s a stand alone MatrixBrute patch viewer which is very useful for analyzing, understanding and comparing existing patches: Here it is.
Might as well add the Cubase patch scripts, available here.
Those are the community created MatrixBrute tools I know of.
Not sure if I’m being stupid… but I can’t seem to download from the legacy forum. Is anyone able to re-upload the Cubase MIDI Device Panel to this thread?
Welcome to the forum, @robertsamuel !
You have to log in to the legacy forum to access the attachments there. Since we have moved on to this new forum, I have remade the thread from the legacy one to make this more accessible.
I also made one for the Cubase patch scripts
Thanks so much, it wouldn’t let me login to the old forum and I couldn’t register now it’s closed either… so this is super helpful. Thank you!
