I own V Collection 9 which I have registered on the Arturia site / Arturia software center. I see NI has an upgrade discount which would be $149. I didn’t buy V9 from NI. NI recommends I have to pay full price for it. Arturia’s site says I have to pay full price for it, too.
The NI site shows $149 for the upgrade but says I must have V Collection 9 - which I do - serial number, etc. How do I go about getting V Collection 10 and activating it at the discount that NI is offering? (Considering my activation of V9 is via Arturia)
Arturia do not have a sale at the moment. You can wait for a sale and see which price that offer you.
And you can wait for a sale from where you got your V-Collection 9 in the first place i guess.
It’s just odd NI since NI bought out Arturia that NI is offering a discount on the upgrade and Arturia isn’t. My question is since I have V9, could I buy V10 from NI with the upgrade price or is there some kind of ‘registration wall’ preventing me from upgrading. Seems rather silly.
I’m not sure if you say NI will or wont sell the upgrade to you. If they will, then i think you can do that. I don’t know the deals NI and Arturia have with each other. But Arturia should get their part from NI/ a none Arturia dealer.
As said you can ask Arturia and NI for that matter, if you are in doubt. I dont no why NI recommends to pay full price for the upgrade like you say they do. So perhaps it’s a good idea to ask about it.
The recommendation engine says I have to pay the full upgrade price. I was under the assumption all our licenses were in the NI and Arturia databases, respectively.
Yeah I better check with them. thanks for your time and help.
