Tahoe compatibility

V collection X.
Any news on MacOS Tahoe compability?

Hi @naø. Welcome back.

This what’s official:

Thank you for responding!
Off course this is accessible info from 10.15-25. Its now 26.2.1-26 and I wonder about the Arturia progress now.
Also, are there other users here that did the upgrade and can share their experiences

I upgraded to Tahoe about 2 months ago. I am using Logic and have only had one problem after the upgrade with an Arturia plugin - fixed by an uninstall/reinstall.

Of course it was a gamble but I make sure I have a backup first.

I’m still holding off till I get official word myself. But then, there’s quite a few other devs that have to chime in on this.

I understand the process takes time and it’s important they do thorough testing and try to iron out as much bugs as possible. But you’d think 4 months should about cover it.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for formal confirmation, it took them most part of a year last time. That said i’m in no hurry to update to Macos 26, it’s bugged to sh#te, going from the many complains on the Mac Rumors forum. I’ll maybe join the party when 26.4 drops. Some people deliberately stay one release behind anyway, and I don’t blame them.

They do work - but Tahoe in general might still cause some issues overall. It is always hard to know.

I know that at least 1 of us has updated with no issues - Aside from Native Instrument plugins which is now fixed anyway. And I plan to update soon…

This is not an official statement from Arturia though : )

Thx for sharing Joe! Did the “the one” update x-collection or the V Collection 11 Pro?
Is the latter Tahoe updated?

At the least I wait until my audio interface has been deemed compatible otherwise everything could crumble.

Beyond that, I wait for the “majority” of my plugins to be tested and possibly updated, but I don’t wait for everyone. If I’m in the middle of the project then its the plugins I’m currently using. Otherwise I wait till I have enough plugins that I * could* do a project with.

It makes no sense to update, for example, if there’s no way I can lay down any drums. Or more specifically, it could prove incredibly unreliable. Because that’s when the next project will surely drop, at the time you are least prepared for it.

I’m finding it hard to keep from accidentally updating, Mac has gone Microsoft; sneaking in pre-checked Tahoe updates if you aren’t wary. Anyone know a way to stop or decrease the nagging?

This thread suggests several strategies:

Thanks, good info.

I’ve been moving off Windows because of shady upgrade tricks and constant nagging. It really makes me angry seeing Apple starting down this road.
