Some knobs don't work in plugin version?

Hi,

Windows 10
Cubase LE 10
Analog Lab V Pro (plugin)
KeyLab Essential 49 MK3

The Phaser Mix, Delay Volume, Reverb Volume and Master don’t move with the keyboard knobs, they can be moved only with the mouse.
Analog Lab V

In the Analog Lab V Pro standalone version, everything work fine.

How can I solve it ?

Thanks

Hi @Steve70. Welcome to the community.

I think there is technical issues. I have similar issues in Studio One assigning midi CC to the controls in that panel.

I suggest you contact Arturia support.

Thank you very much LBH for your answer :grinning:, I will contact Arturia support about it.

Hi,

I exchanged four mails with Arturia support, they give me some advices, but nothing change.

It’s not about → The Cuabse 12 script.
And it’s not about to setup the unit as a Mackie Control Universal device normally.

To give more precision.

In the User manual Analog Lab V page 41:

3.3.2.1. MIDI Controller
Select a MIDI controller to play Analog Lab V. If you have an Arturia MIDI controller it will be
auto-detected and mapped, along with the layout of the onscreen keyboard controls [p.46].
If you use a different brand of controller, select Generic MIDI Controller to create your own
MIDI assignments.

But in the Cubase plugin version 3.4.1. Performance Controls and MIDI Controllers (p 51),
The Phaser Mix,
Delay Volume,
Reverb Volume
and Master
don’t move with the keyboard knobs, they can be moved only with the mouse.

I see this forum is a precursor to logging an issue with Arturia Technical Support. Many of the people on this forum are users rather than support or developers and basically give the best advice they can based on their experience. If you have escalated the issue to Arturia then I would keep the issue with them. Perhaps in this case it might be worth contacting Cubase support to see if they have any suggestions.

Hi Funtmaster,
Yes of course I understand, here people are doing their best to answer and I’m very grateful for the help they give me.
But I also post this message again to give some news, and I try to explain further with a video.
If other users can share their experience with the KeyLab Essential MK3 about Performance Controls and MIDI Controllers in Cubase 10, 10.5, 11, 12, 13 or another DAW, it will be interesting.
I will contact Steinberg about it.

You can try to assign directly to the effects knobs instead of to the knobs on the control board. It might be a workaround.

But yes, i would also ask Steinberg as @Funtmaster suggest.

I try to do it before, but the 4 knobs don’t work.

Arturia support tell me to reset the KeyLab, nothing change.

So I ask to Steinberg and they tell me there’s no more support for Cubase LE 10.
(the installation was new and clean).

I see Steinberg 40 anniversary and from August 28, 2024 to September 25, 2024, they are offering 50% rebate on all full versions, updates, and upgrades of Cubase 13.

I buy the upgrade for Cubase LE 10 to Cubase LE 13.

I do the installation and know everything work.

I also read that the eLicenser-based licensing service will end at the beginning of 2025,
so it was good to do this upgrade.

Thank you very much LBH and Funtmaster !! You really help me, because you tell me
to ask Steinberg, that show me the way to do this upgrade for Cubase !! :grinning:

Arturia support is really serious they do their best to give me advices.
