There’s a preset in Analog Lab V named “Morning Rhodes” consisting of a Mini V3 pad and a Stage-73 V sound. However it is impossible for me to edit the Mini V3 patch because I own V4, not V3. What to do in this instance? Is it ok to install the old version like the message says?
It is OK to install the legacy version of Mini V3.
It will install in parallel of Mini V4, not replace it. Both versions can run simultaneously on the same computer.
However, unless things have changed recently, unless you have a license for Mini V3 (or a V-Collection license older than VC X, from VC 5 to VC 9, which would be the case if you upgraded to VC X), you won’t be able to open Mini V3.
Hi sebby,
Thanks for sending in your question!
As you own V4, you won’t be able to install Mini V3, but you can remake and replace the Mini part in this multi-preset using your version to resemble the original or perhaps even tweak it to make it your own. The Mini V4 engine is much improved, so it should give you a great sound.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
