Love saving templates for my Keylab Essentials Mk3 to control my various hardware devices. However, the obvious problem arises where I forget what CC parameters I had assigned to knobs and faders for each template. When I turn a knob or move a slider, the screen just says “knob 1” etc.
For example on a template for a synth I assigned “Knob 1” to CC 74 to control its filter cutoff frequency. Wish I could have named that template > knob as “Filt Cutoff” on MIDI Control Center and then have that name label appear on the screen of my Keylab when I turned its knob 1.
Seems like a basic feature Arturia could add easily. Starting to look at other companies’ MIDI controllers ecosystems.

I think it is known that MCC is broken. There are functions that were there that are no longer working. it has been said that they know and are working on a fix. I hope this includes such functionality as part of the selling features of Arturia is having multiple user control sets.
My hope as a KeyLAB MK3 that has touch id for all the controls are that you can set the label name for them and also have the name of the user-setting show up as well. (this got broke)
I do have quite a few NON Arturia plugins and (and some Arturia ones that I would want to function how I need them to). I would like to be able to run MCC as an application along with my DAW and be able to on the fly if needed load in user configuration setup for a particular instrument that I have done the key mapping for so my touch-id works and my life is much better, Otherwise I might as well bought a generic midi controller for 1/3rd the price
