Missing presets Analog Lab V

Hi veryone!

I updated Analog Lab a few days ago. Since then, som presets are missing. I was using Deep Sci-Fi Strings and now its impossible to find it. I have reinstalled Analog Lab, deleted db.db3 file and activated “Include Legacy sounds” with negative results.
This preset is included in Jup-8 V4 preset folder but the program does’nt show it. In AL appears Sci-Fi Strings, but this sound a lot different from Deep Sci-Fi Strings.

Appreciate your help.

Hi @Frank_Turner ,

Strange.

I know you already have tried to delete the db.db3 file. But can you please try to close all your Arturia applications. Then delete the db.db3 file again. Then open Analog Lab and let it stay open some time while the database is rebuild.

Hi!

Thanks for your reply. I,ve done it this way many times but is not working. I think in the update, some presets are no longer free (Jup-8 V4 for example). I have found Synthwave split that uses Deep Sci-Fi Strings controlling part 2 of the keyboard. Maybe I can work in this way… :face_with_monocle:

Hi again,

Don’t you own the full version of Jup-8 V? If not - do you have access to the preset, when you open Jup-8 V4 in demo mode?

Anyway -
You can try to save the part in the AL MULTI Synthwave preset you can use. Click the 3 dot icon next to the preset name to the right in Explore view where the instruments images is. Then you get a menu to select from.

You can also use SAVE AS in the main menu to save an edited preset. This will save as a Analog Lab preset.

I see both presets in my Analog Lab. “Deep Sci-Fi Strings” is in Factory bank. “Sci-Fi Strings” is in Analog Lab Factory bank. They’re both the same underlying “Deep Sci-Fi Strings” JUP-8V patch though.

Hi!

The preset I’m talking about was included in Analog Lab. The software was included when I purchased a Minifuse interface. I had always been able to use it without problem until this latest update.

I’ll try downloading Jup-8 V as independent software to see if that solves the problem.

Also, as you say, I had thought about modifying the Synthwave preset and saving it.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi!

I have always had the two presets available until the last update, in which Deep Sci-fi Strings was lost.

I will try to download Jup-8 as independent software.

Thanks for responding.

I’ve been having the same problem for about a month now. Quite bummed. For example, the Bowie pack of presets is missing about half of the ones that had been available, including my favorites that I rely on. I am about to try uninstalling/deleting db.db3 file and reinstalling. Not optimistic based on reading this thread. :frowning:

Hi @candv. Welcome to the community.

Normally just deleting the db.db3 file and give it time to rebuild again solve missing preset issues.

First -
Be sure the Bowie soundpack is installed and activated.

Also be sure no preset filtering is going on.
