Missing Augmented Instrument Presets

Analog Lab V users… how many Augmented instruments do you have presets for? I only see the Augmented instruments in Analog Lab that I actually have full licenses for already. Not any of the others.

Thanks!

Analog Lab V is supposed to contain presets from all Augmented instruments including MALLETS, BRASS, WOODWINDS etc. But mine only contains presets from STRINGS and VOICES which happen to be the two that I own full licenses for. Can someone confirm they have access to presets from all Augmented instruments in Analog Lab V or if you are also having this problem?

I’m working with support but so far re-installing, deleting the db presets file etc has not worked.

Cheers!

Hi @heron . Welcome back.

Sorry we have missed this one.

How do you know this?

AFAIK Analog Lab only have presets from the Augmented series, if you own the full instrument or sound packs. But wait and hear about it from support. I might be wrong.

Hi LBH

I was wondering the same and asked Arturia support. They confirm it should include presets from all Augmented instruments and even sent this screenshot.

Also available here: Arturia - Analog Lab

Support’s been great, just haven’t been able to figure this one out yet.
Cheers.

Hi again @heron ,

Have you looked if there are any presets in the preset folders?
Presets are located in the preset folder on the path that’s set for your Arturia ressource folder in Arturia Software Center (ASC).

Do you have Analog Lab PRO with the over 2000 presets?

Cheers

Hi @LBH ,

Thanks for following up…

I do have presets in the presets folder including lots of synths that come with Analog Lab Pro. …but when it comes to the Augmented instruments, I only have the ones I have full license for.

Yes, I do have an Analog Lab Pro license and it shows up in the Software Center.

I have a license for Analog Lab Intro as well (came with my keyboard) and support asked me to uninstall it and only install the Pro version. However, this does not work. Trying to install Pro hangs (waiting to install Intro). Trying to install Intro installs both versions.

At this point I’m asking to delete my Intro license and then we can try again…

Cheers…

Hi again @heron ,

If there indeed are presets from all the instruments in the Analog Lab PRO version you own, then i would try the same as support have suggested. Something seems wrong though, if you have install difficulties.
Also you can only remove the activation from your Intro version, if it does’nt affect other instruments running on the same activation only. I would say, It should not matter to have it activated, but i would certainly try to uninstall and deactivated anyway to troubleshoot.

Perhaps a clean reinstall of ASC could help. The Removal of the Arturia SC folder perhaps can be vital:

However - I have V-Collection and thereby also Analog Lab PRO. I can remember i did not get any Augmented presets without having the full versions - and not running in demo mode. This shall be otherwise owning only Analog Lab PRO or if things have been changed.

Let’s hear what you find out together with support.

Good luck.

Hi again @LBH,

Looks like you are right that Analog Lab Pro does not contain presets for all Augmented instruments, only some of them.

So the product page for Analog Lab Pro is false. It says:
Over 2000 curated sounds from all the acclaimed V Collection Instruments

but it should say:
Over 2000 curated sounds from some of the acclaimed V Collection Instruments

I guess it would have been too good a deal then… lol.

C’est la vie,
H

Hi @heron ,

Have Arturia support told you that?

There can be something Arturia have overlooked.
Anyway - In my view Analog Lab should contain at least a few presets from every Arturia software instrument that can be used in Analog Lab. Hopefully Arturia will secure this if possible.

I don’t know if there can be a problem with instruments that use certain sample files.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year @LBH!

Yes, Arturia confirmed in their last support response that not all Augmented Instruments are included in Analog Lab V. They suggested I could install the demo versions of the Augmented Instruments I don’t have, but those only run for 20 minutes.

I expressed my dissapointment and suggested they change the advertisement so it doesn’t say that Analog Lab V Pro has presets for ALL instruments, but have not heard back.

At least we know what’s happening.

Cheers,
H

Okay @heron then it’s confirmed.

If Arturia make changes, then i just assume new presets will be added through an update. I can imagine they will, but let’s see.

Cheers
