Midi mapping problem

Hello

I’ve recently bought the VST VPROM from ALYJAMES version 3.0

I am trying to midi map the drum machine to match my beatstep pro in order to have all the sounds available on the 16 pads

I see that my 2nd pad plays a C#1 in ableton I want it to play a D1 so I went to the midi arturia center and I entered D1 into the pad.

Nothing changes in ableton, though in the center it does show D1 but still plays a C#1 in ableton

could you help me please ? has it something to do with the midi mapping on ALY JAMES VST? thanks

I don’t have a Beatstep.

Are you sure your Beatstep is set to use the template/ Project that you change in the Midi Control Center (MCC)?
Are you sure the midi channels match between your controller and your software?

I don’t know about your VPROM. I don’t know, if you for example can create multiple global midi configs/ templates. If so, then that’s an option.
In generel midi Drum mapping all notes are used. Many drum applications can be using the C# you will change.
