Midi control center wont let me import .aif files on mac

Hi, im trying to import .aif sample files on my mac so i can load them into my micro freak, but the samples are greyed out after i click “replace sample A53 with wav.aiff file”. This is after making a new folder with the factory samples so that i can edit it. Any input helps. Thank you

Hi!
Do you mean that .aif files are grayed out in your operating system folders?
And are the files concerned .aif or .aiff files?

Best,

Hey! Yes, the .aif files are greyed out. Does it only play .aiff but not .aif? Thanks

Hello !

Yes, unfortunately we currently only support .aiff and not .aif.

You should contact our support team in order for them to log a feature request case.

I don’t know this format very well but I think that the difference between the two are very minor, so it’s possible that we consider and implement the feature quickly.

Cheers !

my colleague made a small typing error.
.aif files are not supported.
Only .aiff are

Hello !

I just wanted to give you an update because we released a new Midi Control Center yesterday which now accepts both .aif and .aiff.

Thanks for pointing out that we should do it.

Cheers !
