Hi,
Since macOS 26.4 a one-time warning is displayed by the OS when MCC is started, telling us that Rosetta 2 support is ending for Intel programs. A quick search revealed it is going to end after macOS 27.
I hope Arturia takes this into account with future updates of MCC.
This is still more than 1 year, though I’d be happy to see a Silicon version sooner than later.

By the way, the MCC v 1.23.0.134 crashes randomly under latest MacOS SEQUOIA.
The silence on this front is deafening. Almost as if Arturia support aren’t reading this thread. The Rosetta warning keeps popping up and is going to cause a lot of problems in the very near future. Would be good to get some sort of support update to let us know if they’re paying attention to it and planning some action before the deadline.
For most [of us Mac users] the solution is not to update to macos 27. I realise that’s not a solution to people buying new Macs from probably October onwards which will ship with a Rosetta-less OS. But in Apple’s defence it’s been six years since their first ARM computer. That’s been long enough for most companies invested in the MacOS platform to get their sh*t together.
Unfortunately, Arturia is not the only company in this ballpark. I have several music-related tools on my Mac that still require Rosetta 2: Steinberg Download Assistant, Kurzweil Sound Editor, …
One solution could be for Arturia to release their sysex documentation, if products can be configured this way. The developers among us could get busy and write alternative versions of MCC, problem solved.
Novation provides these docs for their controllers so it does not seem to be so much out of this world.
@Jon_Vincent macOS 27 still supports Rosetta 2, it’s macOS 28 that stops having it. That only delays the problem though.
