Overall I am very impressed with Analog Lab V, however, with some sounds it is not possible to record the dry sounds into my DAW without the effects. Turning the reverb and delay knobs does not remover those effects and I have not managed to discover any method to do this. What is the point of giving us all these sounds if we don’t have the ability to even record the dry sounds? Maybe it’s possible by buying the individual software instruments but this is a pretty basic requirement when recording and the inability to do so is inexcusable.
Hi @Music_Whizz and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!
I’m guessing you might not have the Analog V Pro version?
If you DO have this version, then you can tweak pretty much anything, so long as you also have licences for the particular instruments you wish to tweak.
Click on the icon to the left of the preset field, then select ‘explore’ and then ‘edit preset’ and you should be good.
Here are a couple of pics to illustrate.
I’ve highligted the relevant buttons in each pic.
HTH!
Hi @Music_Whizz. Welcome to the community from me too.
I like @matjones am a user like you. Not a Arturia employee. I can’t tell if Arturia will implement a feature in the future to turn of the original instruments effects added in the sound design of a preset. It’s possible.
Through the time many have had wishes that they thought was basic features. If all was implemented, then i don’t think there would be much reason to invest in the full instruments.

May i ask what you find is deep editing?
