Is every knob and lever on the virtual synthesizers/instruments assignable to a hardware controller?

The recreation of these synthesizers and instruments is really cool. But, are each of the knobs and levers in them assignable to a hardware controller? I understand there’s not enough knobs on a typical controller for something like the ARP2600, but if you wanted to, could you assign any of the knobs and levers to a hardware controller knob?
If so, how? i have opened up the MIDI Control center and I don’t see where you can access each of the virtual instruments/synthesizers.

Hi @zepking ,

You use midi CC (midi Control Change) messages to control midi equipment.
In Arturias ARP 2600 V3 you can basically map all parameters to be controlled by a midi CC.
In V-Collections instruments most parameters can be mapped but not 100%. Most of the rather few things that can’t be mapped is things that’s not sculpting the sound like for example a switch to shift a view.

The applications have a MIDI page in the instruments right panel where you can do the mapping. The assignments can even be done using midi learn.
Each application also have a manual too - just like all Arturias products have.

You are welcome to ask how to map a specified parameter in a specified instrument, if you have difficulties doing it.
I suggest you use some time to learn about midi CC and other midi messages and have a look in the manuals first - also in manuals for your hardware controller and it’s software.
