I really miss the preset morphing feature from older versions of v-collection. Of course one can argue that the results often sound far from perfect, but they can serve as a creative starting point to do something different.
The Nord Modular G2 had some very nice approach based on genetic algorithms. And NI Reaktor has some randomizing features as well that could be even modulated dynamically for creating nice sound machines.
But it does not have to be very sophisticated for being a useful inspiration for new sounds the can be tweaked further by hand.
Please bring it back!
