[Feature Request] Please bring V Collection to the iPad

I’ve been a user of “iSEM” app on the ipad since 2018 and can’t even think of using the ipad for my mobile sound projects without it. But I’ve noticed something:

  • Since upgrading to iPadOS26 I don’t see “iSEM” available
  • iSEM doesn’t even import/export presets that you can use with the desktop version of SEM V - sadly
  • The only app on the iPad app store right now is the Astrolab companion app - which is frankly, a buggy mess and horrible to use

I would like to know why Arturia does not see a market to port or continue their fantastic software onto the Apple iPad ecosystem. Frankly, a release of the V collection on the iPad would be an absolute game changer compared to what Moog and Korg have already established in this area. Arturia would be an amazing addition and I would immediately buy the whole synth package over again, if necessary.

What does the rest of the community think about this?

Hi @dreikelvin and thanks for the suggestion!

I’ve slightly tweaked your title, so The Arturia Devs will be more likely to see it.

HTH!

Hi! I would love to see my V Collection, on my iPad. Porting an Auv3 from Macos to Ipados/ios is very simple. And now in Europe you could publish the IOS plugins on you own store, and we could get them for free with our VC license.
The competition laws for Apple alternative stores will be expanded to other countries, it’s just a matter of time. I’ve read that Japan could enforce them, as well as California.

I’d love to pigments, pure lofi and fragments on iPad. I’d absolutely pay full price again.

Yes, that would definitely be great. I’d love to have the option of running my V Collection instruments in a live setting in the KeyStage DAW. I ditched my laptop when I got an AstroLab but I miss the flexibility I used to have running V Collection and other VST’s in MainStage.

I also have a bunch of VST’s on my iPad and I sometimes use the KeyStage iOS DAW with GSI’s B3 (basically a Crumar Mojo), Moog’s Mini VST and various other iOS instruments. GSI’s Vox Continental, Farfisa, Clav and Tines electric piano are terrific.

I always have a USB interface in my bag in case something goes wrong with the Astro so I can plug in the iPad if needed.

But my main sounds are V Collection and I’d love to have them on iOS.
