[Feature Request] More control on Analog Lab's aesthetic

I mentionned it in another thread yesterday. I can’t stand these random artworks you get when you open a preset in AL (I know it isn’t, but it just looks as bland as AI slop).

I wish you could change it, or better, let the users decide between several sets of visuals you curated.
The user base is into Arturia for wide range of reasons, so maybe you could tap into it:

  • Bring back the boomer synth studio aesthetic like I’ve seen with Analog Lab 2
  • Just use pictures of the synth that’s modeled (different angles depending on the type of the patch… or just one angle).
  • Base the visuals on the tropes of different styles of music.
  • I don’t know, hire some starving graphic designers…
Almost anything would be better than these generic abstract pictures unrelated to music. Maybe some people find it inspiring, but it doesn’t work for me.

OK, I know this will add 10s of GB of pictures during the install, but why not let the user decide what to install?
And also ask them what size they will use? Like I know Arturia use 10 different sets of pictures for the different zoom sies, but most users only use one size, maybe two. You can let them pick 80 % and 110 % for example, and allow them to save space on their hard drive.

Thanks for your feedback, I’ll pass it on to the team for future development of Analog Lab.
