Does V Collection 11 INTRO comes with a full version of Pure Lofi?

Just like the title says… I’m planning to upgrade to V collection 11 INTRO just because I love the new Pure Lofi.

Now the upgrade is cheaper than buying the instrument by itself on my account, so that raised me an eyebrow… Would I get the same Pure Lofi version if I go for V Collection 11 INTRO as if I buy the instrument by itself?

Cheers!

Yes.

It will be the same full version. There is no other version .

Hi @Shaels

If you scroll to the bottom of this page it does seem to confirm what @Funtmaster states below your post.

HTH!

Hi,

This page directly compare the new INTRO to the PRO V-Collection:
https://www.arturia.com/products/software-instruments/v-collection/overview#compare-section

Notice the Analog Lab is different but not the Pure LoFi. So i would also say it’s the same.

Considering the exact same thing, since Pure Lofi is pretty much the only synth I want from VCollection. (Already have Pigments and MiniFreak. All the clones aren’t all that interesting to me) . It feels soooo stupid that the bundle is cheaper than the single plugin. Can we please have a more reasonable pricing model than bundle lock-in? Perhaps FabFilter-style, the more products you own, the more discount you get on each product…

It’s always been the case, it’s the same with say Native Instrument

It suits me fine, I wanted the Jup-8000 and the Pure LoFi, I got the pro upgrade from version X for €149.

A very good upgrade price in my opinion

Personally I think these companies goals are to sell the bundles. Pick some prices out of the air for individual instruments, then you can tell your customers how many thousands they are saving by buying the bundle.

And sometimes someone only wants one instrument, fine pay for it. Cheaper than the bundle.

I suspect the v11 intro is priced in a way that if someone wants only one of the included instruments, it only costs about €50 more to buy the intro. All those €50 add up, plus if someone buys the intro, it’s a good advert to the quality of things in the pro.

Thisis EXACTLY the case. They want you to buy one of the ‘collections’ to rope you in to their ecosystem.

People think they’re getting something for free when they download such as Analog Lab Intro. You’re not. It’s an interactive advertising tool designed to sell V Collection to you.

Upto and including V Collection 5, if you bought just Analog Lab you literally got all of the exact same presets as if you bought the full V Collection at what 3x the price. Then from V Collection 6 onwards, that changed: no matter which version of Analog Lab you bought, you would always get less presets than if you bought V Collection. This is because the penny dropped in someone’s brain at Arturia that people were mostly buying Analog Lab instead of buying the V Collection because they got the exact same number of presets.

EDIT: just to be clear, I’m not really critizising Arturia for this. All this is common business practise.

I say, go for it!

I finally upgraded, and it was sooooo totally worth it. Pure Lofi, has the character of a sample-based instrument with the versatility of a synth-based one. It’s just so well thought out, and every component of it feels wonderful, touching, and inspiring. I already took an ambient track to the next level thanks to it.

Oh, i got my upgrade for only $99.

Thanks everybody for the responses. I finally upgraded and you’re all right. Happy to see your responses to pull the trigger.

If you’re thinking about upgrading for Pure Lofi, AMA. Full Disclosure: i’m absolutely biased. This feels already like the dreamed instrument I was missing to move forward with an instrumental organic album I’m working on.

hi @Shaels

Great to see you ‘pulled the trigger’ and bought V-Col11 intro and even better to see you’re enjoying it so much :+1::grin::+1:
