I have a minilab 3. I’m trying to understand how device memories and local templates work. I have two user templates. If I change device memory User 1 Backlight from ON to OFF this value changes everywhere: user1, user2, user3, user,4 and user5 also the two user templates. How does it work?
The templates and device memories only store the settings from the ControllerMap tab. The backlight control and everything else in the Device Settings tab apply to the whole device, regardless of the selected program.
It’s too bad the UI design of MIDI Control Center doesn’t make that more clear.
