I am sorry for this terrible ordeal.
Although words are not enough, please accept all my affection, and I hope that my current condition does not bring back painful memories for you. If it does, I am truly sorry.
Their performances remind us that the essential thing is, above all, to enjoy playing together, no matter how, and to be in harmony.
Sincerely, Françoise.

Ça remonte à 2012; j’ai fait mon deuil. C’est un nuage de cendre qui recouvre tout pendant quelques années. Je me console parce qu’il a eu une vie pleine contrairement aux jeunes qui se suicident.
It goes back to 2012; I had time to grieve. It’s like a ash cloud covering everything for a few years. But he had a full life that young people committing suicide didn’t enjoy

Hello @francoise
I don’t know why I didn’t suggest that you listen to a friend who has been composing electronic music for many years.
I met him during the sessions offered by Native Instruments around the Metapop period.
It’s true that our exchanges nowadays are sporadic, but nonetheless, his compositions are really exceptional (at least to me), sincerely musical, and offer an excellent sharing of his universe.
Of course, everyone’s musical tastes are different, but one still needs the desire to feed their curiosity.
Didier deserves to be a bit better known, even if he does not seek it.
Enjoy listening.

It reminds me of ambient or soft electronica of the 90’s like Biosphere (Norwegian Geir Aule Jenssen) though it is less ambient. I would have to go through my friend’s huge collection of 90’s electronica. Maybe Ulrich Schnauss - As If You’ve Never Been Away.

PascalH,
Thank you for the review! I just listened to your song “Reves cosmiques”: it sounds very pleasant. The piano playing is very nice.

Hello @aaron_aardvark first of all thank you for listening, it’s always a pleasure to listen to your compositions.
As for me, it’s been a long musical and composing pause because I am now undertaking a deeper exploration of harmony and counterpoint.
A sonic exploration to make it fit my musical universe, because even though I consider myself only a modest musician, I want to produce high-quality compositions.
Musical friendship.
PascalH,
Thank you for your recent review! Just listened to “Histoire D’eau De Mer”: very nice double tracked guitars (from what I can tell). Cool song!

Thank you @aaron_aardvark my friend,
it has been a long time since I didn’t think so much while composing.
It was still a time when I allowed myself the right to dream, although it is more like a naive musical painting.
Thank you for listening and for your perspective on my very modest musical writings.
Thank you for your friendship.
Have a wonderful end of the year.
Hello everyone,
it’s been a while since dust settled on the keys of my Roland E-38 keyboard.
Thanks to Amazon gift cards that my children gave me, I was able to invest in the miniFuse 4.
Well, after a few adjustments and settings, I’m starting to record my improvisations, in a somewhat clumsy way and without really having the velocity and talent, but most importantly, with pleasure.
Lots of work to be done on the keyboard and progress to make, but it is taking better shape today.
Thank you for your kind and attentive support.
Musical friendship.

Well, that was moody. But I like moody. Its very dynamic and angst ridden and the change in feeling at the end is lovely…
It’s great as it is but seems to be in mono? It’s begging to be in stereo and maybe a little EQ and reverb to add the sprinkles on a nice cake.
Keep it up.

Yeah, i quite enjoyed that too actually.
Initially i thought the same thing about it being in mono, but further on, i started to think it actually ADDS to the vibe, i’d maybe give it a touch more ‘lo-fi’, not TOO much though, or it’ll just sound like it’s ‘trying too hard’ imho.
I thought it might have worked well in something like this.

Thank you for listening @aaron_aardvark
It was upon receiving the MiniFuse 4 that I wanted to make a live recording.
I’m not really a keyboardist since it has mainly been the guitar that has accompanied me so far.
I’m not great at music composition, just an improviser.
I especially enjoy sounds, musical vibrations, and I’m curious to know how and why.
More of a collector than a user, but I like to improvise on presets in an ephemeral way.
Thank you for your attention and kindness regarding my modest contributions; coming from you, it motivates me to do even better.
Fraternal and musical friendship from Brittany, France.
It’s in line with previous works but the melodic aspects are much more rich and complex.
More “symphonic”.

Good evening @francoise a big thank you for your attention and feedback.
It’s often when I allow myself to be carried away by the moment that inspiration shows up.
Although all of this is modestly only the result of a musical approach, which I strive to practice every day so that my playing becomes increasingly fluid, despite the mechanical aspect and the lack of exploration of scales and tonality.
It is on a good path, and your analysis is a true encouragement.
Thank you. Françoise.
Amitié .
