Hi Arturia peeps! I love Arturia products and have based my entire setup on them and would really like to upgrade from Vcol 10 to 11 at some point.
Even with the current sale on and my loyalty discount the upgrade is 299 euros (535 Australian dollars). Can anyone advise me on the best time of the year to take the leap and upgrade? I wish Arturia would take into account the money we spend on individual vst’s that are included as new collections are released because it feels a little like i am being charged twice for my loyalty and impatience with all of these individual instrument licences left over as i upgrade. I did get an awesome offer for 99 euro in May but i missed the email and thus the opportunity. Surely it comes around more than once a year?
Thanks!
Hi @tekkaz72
this is how I was able to acquire the collections and some virtual instruments on a promotional level when they were released, because I don’t really have the finances (thanks to Arturia for that).
For the Sound Banks, for some, I’m waiting for the best time.
Remember to put Arturia emails in spam as authorized emails so you won’t miss anything, or visit your profile more often.
Good luck next time.
Hello! First of all, it’s lovely to hear that you base your entire setup on our products, we are honored
Black Friday and holiday season usually has the best discounts, so you could wait for that time to upgrade.
And like Pascal said, make sure you are subscribed to the newsletter and receive it in your primary inbox so that you don’t miss flash sales & loyalty offers in the near future !
Hey thanks guys! Yes my Arturia mail goes to a promo folder and because i get so much other junk i neglect to look at it most of the time and thus i unfortunately missed an offer back in May. I have set up a rule to allow comms from Arturia to pass onto my inbox and will now have a reason to check my email in anticipation of another opportunity for a special offer for the upgrade to V col 11. I have plenty of awesome stuff to keep me busy until that time comes around! Since i am in Australia caould i ask when Black Friday and the holiday season is in France?
I’m in a similar boat as you. Basically my entire studio is Arturia… I’ve got the Audiofuse Studio, Essential 49 MK3, Keylab 61 MK2, Minifreak, FX Collection Intro, and all of the plugs that came with my hardware including Piano V2.
The most annoying thing is that I’ve got four or five versions of Analog Lab Intro, Pro, and V. It would definitely be nice if we could build a bundle of products and not be paying twice for things that we already have.
I just wanted to say that I had missed the $99 sale earlier this year by like one day and reached out to support to ask some questions about maybe building my own bundle since I already owned 13 of the 45 instruments in the V Collection. I was annoyed that they wouldn’t allow me to do that, but they did reinstate the sale price for me so I could purchase the FX collection.
So, if you run into a situation like this again, I’d recommend that you just email Arturia and see if they can help you out! Maybe one day, they’ll take into account that some of us own a whole lot of their stuff and give us who are seriously brand loyal the option to build our own bundles
Hello @tekkaz72
normally Black Friday is in November in France , and if I remember correctly at the end of November.
In case I have the opportunity to know the date or a promotion I will keep you informed.
Have a good day, here in Brittany it is 6:30 p.m.
Wonderful thanks Pascal, that aligns perfectly with my birthday which is also in November. And i can’t think of a better gift for myself than to upgrade to VCol 11 pro and spend some time exploring all it has to offer. We really do live in amazing times!
As far as I know, it’s the same day in every country which recognises it: it’s the Friday after the fourth Thursday in November, which is Thanksgiving in the United States.
Pretty sure we do recognise it in Australia, but i have only come to be aware of it in recent years. I have always known it to be an Amercan thing, and for some reason a lot cultural practices from the USA seem to make their way into ours.
Same here in the UK. 20 years ago it wasn’t a thing here.
Nor were stupid baby gender-reveal parties.
Nor were school proms for 11 year olds, where the chubby kid, on top of having been bullied for five or more years, has to suffer the humiliation and perceived worthlessness of not being able to find a dance partner, before they’ve even hit frikking puberty.
There’s a song in that somewhere.
" I wish Arturia would take into account the money we spend on individual vst’s that are included as new collections are released because it feels a little like i am being charged twice for my loyalty and impatience with all of these individual instrument licences left over as i upgrade"
That’s why i do not ugrade since i bought separatly most of the new instruments of the v collection…
