Just install the latest MCC version today on a M1 Ultra running the latest Sonoma 14.6.7 with granted access in the system settings. it’s beach balling and does not connect to my new bought micro freak. any suggestions ?
Have you tried running it in Rosetta mode?
Hi thank you ! I actually read your other post regarding crashing, i was sure that in the meantime the app has been evilved. turns out as an wish and its a kind of delusion
Well, under „info“ of the app there‘s no rosetta toggle option ??? i dig in the system setting to activate /install rosetta but it is already, other apps (other than arturia apps and the whole softsynths of arturia) are showing uo the rosetta toggle option… i even tried to start the app in rosetta with the terminal command but it’s beachballing… actually after letting it be for about 1 minute it “connects” but every action takes far too long… useless in this situation…
I just checked mine again, and it no longer offers the “Open with Rosetta” option in the application’s Info panel. I pretty sure it did when I made that original post about it.
It’s “Kind” indicates “Application (Intel)”, so I think that means it uses Rosetta automatically.
Hi Selen.
Are you still have problems with this?
If you don’t find a solution then our support team will be able to troubleshoot it with you:

Thanks
Hi
Thank you for asking. In the meantime i got used to the long loading time of the app. it is about a minute. then i can use the app as far as i can judge (new to microfreak). i noticed in the activity monitor that au hosting services is getting started once i start the app. i got a bunch of patch editors for my other much more complex hardware synth and still not sure why it is taking so long to „load and connect“.
I just checked on my system, and the app starts up right away, but it does take a minute to establish the MicroFreak connection. I assume that’s just it exchanging all the patch information.
thank you again, seems to be the way… are you connecting per usb too ?
I am…power and data.
