Hi all,
Since a few months, I get the error “Audio Controller initialization failed.” in the eventviewer every time I boot my pc. The source of the error is “arturiausbmidi” and the EventID is 3. Right after this error happens, my Presonus Quantum ES4 audio interface generates the exact same error in the event viewer. Nothing else goes wrong. I can use both my midi keyboard and audio interface completely normal. But I try to make my pc more stable and try to cleanup my Event viewer log a bit. These ones I somehow can not pinpoint where they are coming from and Google has been of no help so far. Maybe someone here could point me into the right direction?
Thanks in advance!
I did find that topic before, but it did not give me any solution. I already made sure that everything is updated and since I do not have any other keyboard connected that can cause conflicts, I think this topic does not offer me a solution. Besides, I could not find any drivers for the keylab essential MK3 specifically. Maybe I am overlooking something here?
There is a difference between updating and reinstalling.
When you install Midi Control Center, then you also install drivers.
You can also try to clean the preferences for Midi Cotrol Center in Arturia Software Center.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Midi Control Center.
During the installation, it generated this error in the Event Viewer:
The arturiausbmidi_cci_{b44608a8-86fd-4af2-99e0-1eb95f41ea06} service failed to start due to the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
The Midi keyboard is still functioning normally as always though.
Right after that message, the other message appeared again:
Audio Controller initialization failed.
Before the service start error message was also an Information message that looked as follows:
A service was installed in the system.
Service Name: arturiausbmidi_cci_{b44608a8-86fd-4af2-99e0-1eb95f41ea06}
Service File Name: C:\Users\pmall\AppData\Local\Temp{1728B719-C916-43D1-ACA5-EC29AF5B4A5B}\pckXbFB7rpbyto\x64\arturiausbmidi.sys
Service Type: kernel mode driver
Service Start Type: demand start
Service Account:
I checked my services and there was no service there that was linked to Arturia as far as I could see. Also the path mentioned above was not available anymore.
I can suggest you contact Arturia support through your account.
