Assign a sample to pad

As a Keylab essential mk3 user I would like to assign in MCC samples to pads instead of notes in pad. Samples in mp3 / wav format. On press to start and on press to stop
Is this possible?

No, it is not. A MIDI controller like the Keylab does not hold sounds or samples and it does not output any audio. It only generates MIDI data that you use to control other devices or software synths.

You would need to set samples up in a DAW (e.g. using Ableton Drum Rack) and use the Keylab pads to trigger the notes that play those samples in the DAW.
