Arturia & I: Show us your setup! 🎛️

 Yo Arturians, let’s talk setups. Big rigs, minimal desks, DIY stands, chaotic cable jungles - we wanna see it all. If you’ve got an Arturia piece in your setup, drop a pic. Flex your workspace. Inspire the crew.

How to join:
:camera_flash: Post a pic (or a few) of your setup featuring Arturia gear.
:memo: Add a short note - what’s your go-to? Any weird workflow tricks? Favorite happy accident?
:zap: Bonus points for clever cable management. Or no cable management. Both are valid.

Why?

  • Because we all love gear :corn:.
  • Because someone’s setup hack might change your life.
  • Because we’re all just trying to make cool noises.

Drop your pics below. Let’s see what you’re working with. :rocket:
P.S. We might share some of the best on our Socials.

Went for the Maschine plus, but wanted Some more synths so I bought the microfreak. After one month the minifreak came for the polyphony. I like how they are different with the envelopes and poly/paraphony.

Micro is used mainly for leads and 4 note arpegiated chords. ( I really like how the filter is affected by the voice stealing. The mini is for keys/piano and mallet type sounds. The maschine+ is the heart of the setup. The Bass is for… surprisingly basses. And the record player for sampling.

The mixer is there to route everything into the Maschine+ and back out to the monitors.

I like the keybed of the minifreak so I use it a lot more than I anticipated.

The KK2 keyboard is routed into Maschine via midi. And the Mac mini is used as a sound module.

Curious to see others setups

I made some changes (tidying up) since the last photo posted.
Sorry but no hardware from Arturia (finance requires for an amateur) but the
V collection X , the FX collection 5 , Pigments, quite a few Preset Banks, and a few other VSTs bought outside of V collection X.
My Home Studio is basic, modest but that’s where I feel best (even if at the moment inspiration is not really felt, but hey I play that’s the main thing).

Also many guitars, three saxes, a fluegel, a trumpet (and a drum machine as the song goes).

No visible cables, lots of 3d print stuff (KRK supports, Mic base, cable routing, Minilab 3 stand and support and others not visible).
Neurosonica | Instagram, Facebook, TikTok | Linktree for some stupid things i do

Sorry I can only post one picture as new user…

I’m impressed and a little embarrassed by how well thought out and tidty everyone’s space is  Really lovely :sunglasses: Anyway, this part of the studio is Arturia corner. Minibrute had to lose its keys (thanks Dave GMUSynth)External gear runs into Audiofuse studio via a behringer xair. Audiofuse is the final hub in a chain and I utilize every input, every usb and all outputs baring the B speaker option and it provides solid performance.
Thanks Arturia.

That’s my little Arturia set. MiniBrute2S ist waiting in its box for new knobs. Sometimes I swap the MicroBrute with a MicroFreak. I prefer a rather small hybrid setup. Ergonomics and a comfortable feel are more important to me than heaps of gear. Less is more. Sometimes.

I just go for the messy vibes—lots of pedals, guitars, and, of course, my PolyBrute 12 :raised_hands:t2:

Wow, I just realized…very Arturia centric…I am missing an Arturia Digital-Drumbrute though…HINT, HINT, HINT.

Basically that’s my go to setup. Not in sight, Waldorf M and Akai APC40 mk2.

I have been building a new setup. A Pro tools 10 HD rig. I have a Mac laptop and two Mac Pro’s with two 6 cores (24 cores due to hyperthreading) and 128 gb ram. (registered). The second Mac Pro will be upgraded to the latest greatest once I have a HDX card for it and a new HDX Protools license. The control24 has 16 preamps and 16 extra inputs where I can connect a second rig.

The first control24 was broken. This is my second. The first one is ready to be fixed. Still in the testphase atm with the second control24 running a Mac Pro snow leopard and a Protools 10HD set and a access virus license on the cards. It runs with two 192’s attached. Gonna test with 2 more attached.

I hope to buy a Midas xl48 this year so I have 8 midas preamps to run through the klark teknik compressors. Besides the 16 focusrite preamps. Then the upper rack will have enough room for a 500 rack. That way I can migrate from in the box effects to pure out the box effects and have a set setup that will record each time with fixed parameters meaning it’s set and forget.

The desk has motors so It can be set to work in a sitting position or it can be used in a standing position.

the Keylab MK3 is basically the heart of this
beside that I’m doing the best to use the small space I got from my girlfriend in our apartment

I guess the phrase ‘small space’ is relative. That’s about the same size of the only bedroom in a £2000pcm London apartment. Great set-up though.
