Arturia & I: Show us your setup! 🎛️

Yes, it is a Focal Sub One.

Thank you. I’m looking to replace my old Wharfedale sub.
They’re 1,299.00$ Can. in long-mcquade.com in Quebec City.
I presume the 2 8" speakers are enough for a studio.

Small change in the arrangement of my room.

I have always liked a 2.1 configuration; the two nearfields are Alpha 50 Evo. The whole setup matches very well.

Thank you, marzzz, after taking measures the Sub One would be a few inches too wide.
The desk is a big glass panel. I can’t move the support without risk.
Third picture from top.

The Sub 12 would fit well but it’s much more costly than the Sub One.
My close range speakers are ok.

The sub (though a 12") is not of the same quality.

With the pedal rack, you’ll have to make us a Pink Floyd cover (reinterpretations) !

Francoise, you could consider putting a sub off to the left side of your desk, just sayin’ :grinning:

Thanks marzzz! There’s a printer on the left, a mike and a guitar on the right!
I think I’ll go for a Kali WS 6.2.

Doesn’t include the Minifreak Stellar I just got last week! Just happened to have this picture on my phone and I’m away from home at the moment. Also no pictures are several mini lab controllers and my other AstroLab is off in the distance to the right.

Synclavier!!

I have 3 Synclaviers in that photo! Sync II on its mini-tower in the left corner, Regen and 3200 w/VPK in the center. (3200 tower no in the photo!)

Yes, my eyes were completely drawn to the 3200/VPK. I have had limited exposure to an actual Synclavier, but it sounded amazing and I am a huge fan of that keybed. Have not tried the Regen because I fear it will be disappointing in comparison…

What is an actual synclavier worth nowadays. I have never ever seen one in the flesh.

I have upgraded since then. A better digidesign control24. I finished the desk it fits in. I added a third keyboard. A Roland Rhodes 760. I finished my Fender (tractor) jazz bass I built from parts. Besides two jazz bass pickups it has a bisonic Guild pickup on it. It is modelled after Berry Oakley’s bass.

They seem to go refurbished from $7000-$20,000, depending on the configuration.

My arturia one is quite a bit cheaper.

I just want to commend everybody here for their cable management. I just seem unable to pull that one off.
