I have in recent months taken quite a liking to Arturia musical offerings.
I have a keylab mk3 on order . I own Analog Labs lite I think trough my minilab3. the controls for it work great and the dials all align up. if you swap between plugin sound patches the dial encoders stay dynamic so turning the dial makes delta adjustments.
however ive tried Piano V and it acts differently. all the dials on the minikey3 are set to relative in the Arturia mode (accrding to MCC) , so if you click on a new sound patch for the Piano and adjust the settings using the minikey3 dial encoders, the value snaps to the relative value position of the respective encoder. So for example, if I have American Home Clean loaded, the brightness by default is 0.8. I can use my dial encoder 2 I believe to adjust that down to say 0.4. If I then select Hey Kids from the menu, again the brightness is by default set to 0.8. As soon as start to turn the dial encoder 2, it will jump to the previous value the encoder was turned to, so in my case 0.4… From the videos of how it is supposed to work, Arturia Lena says it should act dynamic in the value would adjust up or down from the default loaded value 0.8 and go up or down from there depending on what direction you turn the dial.
It is as if Analog Labs acts differently to every other actual instrument inside the V Collection.
I haven’t had any luck getting a response from Arturia. I am trying to figure out if this is just the design and the way it is or if it’s a bug. I am considering buying the V Collection but it doesn’t make much sense if it won’t work with my KeyLAB61 MK3 on order.
