This video by Keith Crosley is a great starting place on ideas on it.
Thank you, capcad! This video is a must.
The part on importing wavetables (they’re in WAV format) is important. In Windows:
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Samples\Pure LoFi\Factory\Wavetables
You can import WAV in Noise> Textures> Folders but I was reporting a bug when scanning Folders in Noise > Textures.
This is an obvious solution.
He seems to be suggesting that you can even import sfz files in the first engine (Realistic Instruments). BUT there are many sfz types, so they might not all work. And the Arturia sfz may have a special structure.
He’s selling his wavetables pack for 29$.

In the request feature for PureLofi, I was asking for a more direct way to move MultiArp xml files across synths supporting MultiArp. Another request would be to import sfz and wav more transparently in PureLofi.
People not used to tweaking C:\Program directories should be careful.
Thank You Francoise
My first post and I am happy someone got use of it.
Keith’s Wavetables also work in Pigments and I bet a bunch of other Arturia products
I hope you make some fantastic music and thank you again for the post.
PS: in the posts from the video Keith stated he’s working on a set just for the Pure LoFi…
Well, it’s a flying start!
I hope many people read your post. It is very useful if you want to get the most of PureLofi.
Thanks for the video. I am on OSX and added some additional wavetables and free SFZ soundfonts. I was confused by the ‘Start’ knob as well ! However, overall, even though you could say that its a cut down Pigments, it does have a character of its own and I love it so far.
