Why is it so hard to delete a chain after several updates?

This make no sense to me. It’s like buying a car that I can turn on but not turn off. I can delete/edit anything else but Chains… I currently just hit the same pattern button at least 16 times to overwrite the buffer, but that’s kind of ridiculous.

Hold down Chain again and tap the patterns you don’t want. They disappear from the Chain

This is the way. It seems that you’re not able to delete the chain entirely, but a 1-pattern chain is effectively the same as deleting the chain.
