Why does sineverb sample have so much noise more painful th an a juno chorus

Really, I seem to be only using a handul of t he samples with the granular engine but on a constant basic, the rest are dreadful sineverb is handy sample but theres ridiculous noise all over it, everytime Iget some interesting lowinf the filter past the noise sine verb patch is too dull anytime you try using a filter envelope it immediatley bring sback t he noise

Ive wasted so many times trying to get rid of noise, dont think its the only sample but the worst, either shimmering key or anapluck ends up with a bit of noise sometimes but sine verb painful

Hi,

I am fairly new to Minifreak but cannot understand your problem. I do not know what noise you are referring to. Perhaps you could post some patches or a video link to illustrate your issue.

so this is sineverb, first “sample” osc then "hit: then at some point “lick”
i do the sound open filter, then really close filter (no noise) and add positive filter envelop a touch which instantly reintroduces the noise

Lopassing out the noise ruins any kind of mid range element
its all noise noise noisehttps://jumpshare.com/s/CGHiLU3nN9JeJ2K9A1e8

OK. Do you mean the sound like someone scrunching paper within the sample? I hear that. That seems to be inherent and part of the sample. If that is so and its intentional on Arturias part, there is nothing to be done apart from letting them know its a problem for you. Personally, I like it as it adds character - especially when using the granular engines.

HI @Scottf and thanks for your post.

This is one of those things that’s down to personal preference i’m afraid, one person may LOVE a sound, whereas another might not.
It’s the same as some people love coffee and some hate it… personally i LOVE coffee but DETEST tea, i know many people would disagree with me though.
It’s one of those things that’s completely subjective.

You are, of course, free to moan about it though…
