Who need midi channel for the keyboard in user mode?

Dave Smith would be crazy to see that stupid midi workflow

when building a mode the only thing that cannot select midi channel is the keyboard…
is it still a midi keyboard or midi encoders and faders? im really asking myself the question…

can we expect a workflow like previous model or this is the end of midi channel for the keyboard in user mode with Arturia?

im really disappointed with this poor workflow does someone use a mode by a midi channel for external gear?

am I missing something of developers missed the most basic functionality on a midi keyboard?

Since I’ve seen new colors for mk3 Essential, I begin to hate Arturia way of thinking, I feel trap with this aesthetic toy that is everything but not a midi keyboard, or Arturia have to celebrate after more than 40 years of midi the most stupid modes that I ever seen on the market…

Arturia should work on basics for firmware before doing stupid color for keyboard…

we dont need colors for midi keyboard but a workflow that color our music…

MK3 series will kill Arturia? is there a new manager? a new director of development? where are we going like that?

Not sure if I am following you correctly, but have you tried the following.
(from the manual). This should address both of your issues.
Apologies if I misunderstand what you are asking.

2.2.1. Changing the MIDI Channel
The MIDI channel of the KeyLab mk3 can be changed by holding the MIDI Channel button and pressing one of the lower 16 keys on the keyboard. After this, all controls that have beeset to follow the User MIDI Channel will change to that channel.
For example, to change KeyLab mk3’s MIDI output to channel 8, hold the MIDI button and hit the lowest G on the keyboard.

Thank you for your reply,

no I’m talking about
when changing user mode I want that the keys already set to the good Channel in my mode instead to have to change mode and then also the midi Channel for the keys

I just want the same firmware than mk2… look in the midi center how it’s done for the mk2 you will see that in your modes you can select the midi Channel for the keys…

We lost a lot from mk2 more than cv port, we lost workflow…

OK, Got it!
In fact, I had sent a ticket back in April.
What I was finding that whatever the last kybd split I created is what all 6 user presets recalled. Never got a response that worked…
I will run through all this again soon. And send another ticket. Painting, keys not set-up.
