Where might I find Specific Sound Banks for Pigments 5

where i should look for a specific Sound Bank?
Both Pigments 5 & Analog Lab Pro installed.

1st, A Dedicated Bank developed to Piano & Electric Piano.

From the ALP store i downed loaded a bank named “Sensual Piano” Love it.
However, ALP is very restrictive & tweaking is limited.
I’ve found no way to convert ALP Bank to Pigments.
If I am correct Pigment 5 Banks will install on both Apps & ALP generated banks install only ALP.

2nd, A Very Basic, Clean, Bank of Pads Strings & any sounds that might find itself in a mix & playing a role of enhancing project.

This new member is a 77 year keyboard picker.
i started with a guitar, in hand, in the mid- 50’s & found myself by the mid-60’s with a Hammond M-3 & 3 Leslie’s & having the times of my life. By mid-70’s it was off to accomplish my life’s work. Music was, only, great memories.

10 years ago, all that changed & back to my music. I’m a retired, play by ear, wanta b Songwriter with a small Home Recording " FOR MY ENJOYMENT, ONLY…" LOL

Anyway, when I auditioned a new Sound Bank my old brain cannot help but wonder just where all these crazy sounds get used. I found myself listening to many sound banks & finding little that i might use

If any guys or gals, having read my rambling post, have any idea’s for me, let me hear from you.

  1. In the Sensual Piano sound bank, those sounds are made from Piano V and Stage-73 V instruments, so they aren’t available in Pigments. There’s no way to make that happen. Those sounds are only changeable if you own the Piano V and Stage-73 V software (and I believe in this case, that sound bank was made for older versions of those 2 instruments).

  2. As you’re checking out various patches, I’d just filter based on type (Pads or Strings). If you are looking at sound banks in the store, sometimes the description will suggest that certain banks may be more likely to have sounds like you are searching for (maybe ambient, atmosphere, or synthwave style banks would be more likely to have “background layer” sounds).

do appreciate your reply. had not searched for “background layer” banks.
will try that later today for sure.

have a great day.
