I thought it sounded like David Sylvian (it’s his picture), which is not far from Bowie but you both know better than me. My younger brother was listening to Bowie.
Omnivocal beta comes with Cubase 15 Elements, Artist or Pro. There will probably have another version with a text to phonetics input; it’s the only part missing.
I was alluding to what I could compose and experiment with @francoise , like in a solo with two accomplices before the group sinks into oblivion even before having existed.
I must admit in hindsight, the sound was recorded on a small camera and I am a little embarrassed today about the rest of the presentation, but it is impossible to find a way to access this profile. I think I would handle this type of musical proposal more professionally.
It does sound like a Zappa solo. You play much much faster than me!
Freak out was the first Zappa album I listened to. Then I bought Uncle Meat (my favorite), Lumpy Gravy, Hot Rats, 200 Motels. He played with great musicians (Ponty, the Breker brother, George Duke, etc.) .I liked the tonal tuines like Blessed Relief, Peaches in regalia, and the UFO Dog Breath Variations.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26X9ecyMZss
Then I was playing Girl from Ipanema with my brother on tenor sax on stage in a college gig trying to emulate Howrad Roberts ( H R Is a Dirty Guitar Player) and Jr. Walker & The All Stars (Shotgun).
Thank you @francoise for your attention and kindness; it was a way, at my own modest level, to express my perspective on his music.
Although it was a total improvisation, I apologize for its imperfections.
Well, one should not confuse speed with rush; at least I did my best.
Here is my collection: nearly 80 albums, CDs, and other items, as well as books about Frank Zappa. The first was a vinyl of Sheik Yerbouti.
