I have just installed a new licence of V Collection X which is showing 10228 Presets in the Standalone Analog Lab Pro App.
When I open Logic Pro, and the Analog Lab Pro Plugin, it is only showing 2582 Presets
I am running:
Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2
Logic Pro 11.1.2
I have previously bought the Arturia Keylab Essential 49 Keys and that came already with analog lab pro with 2k plus presets in, I am wondering if this is interfering with the new V Collection Sound Pack?
The only other vaguely similar issue I could find on the forums was this:
I could only locate the:
‘com.apple.audiounits.cache’ in Library > Caches > AudiUnit Cache
the other files mentioned in the thread above were not present. I deleted this file above, rebooted and opened Logic Pro, up which it took about 15 mins for it to rebuild its sound installs, but it was exactly the same with only the limited amount of 2k presets
It’s strange you have the presets in standalone mode but not in the plugin. The preset database is the same.
You could try to:
Be sure Logic have scanned your V-Collection and/ or rescan.
Be sure all is activated.
If 1+2 does’nt help, then delete the db.db3 file in your main Arturia preset folder and open Analog Lab too rebuild the database. This is just in case, as your database apparently does work with the standalone application, so it do not look like it’s corrupt.
Be sure you don’t have multiple installs of Analog Lab. Check your plugin folders and be sure you only have the latest from your V-Collection installed.
If this does’nt help, then i can’t tell if there is an issue with your OS and Logic, since i dont think your OS is officially supported by Arturia yet. But it does work for your Standalone application, so it look like it should work. I believe it work for others. Anyway - if the above does’nt help, then i suggest you contact Arturia support through your account.
Thanks for your reply. I have also submitted a support ticket to Arturia, but as its the weekend, I guess it may be a few days before they reply.
Im guessing some of your suggestions relate to a Windows setup, for example I cant find a db.db3 file on my mac, so wondering if this is called a vst or vst3 file on a mac? (screenshot attached)
rescanning the plugins in Logic, also did not resolve the issue.
Yes. Thought you had done that. Be sure you have no duplicate files/ plugins located on your computer.
It’s a strange issue.
FYI: The db.db3 file does’nt contain the presets themself. The presets are located in the individual applications preset folders in the main Preset folder.
I had a reply from Support today, and it turns out its a known problem with the Silicon Chipped Apple Macs, and you have to run Logic Pro in ‘Rosetta’ which has resolved the issue!
Arturia are working on a fix for this apparently.
thanks for your help trying to resolve this issue, much apprecited
