Using acid V as a sequencer only for other plug ins / how to

Probably missing something simple in the menu perhaps but how do I sequence other synthesizers in Ableton live using the acid V

  1. Add Acid V to MIDI Track 1.
  2. Add your other synth to MIDI Track 2.
  3. Set Track 2 - MIDI From - Input Type to “1-Acid V” and Input Channel to “Acid V”.
  4. Make sure Track 2 Monitor is set to In or Auto, with Recording armed.
  5. Now anything that Track 1’s Acid V is playing should be duplicated by the synth on Track 2.

NOTE: If you are on a Mac, you have to use the VST version of the Acid plugin. AU does not support MIDI Out.
