Update Status!?!?!

We keep seeing you release new products, but you still treat the KSP like an unwanted problem child.
KeyStep Pro Chroma? COME ON!! Cheap and transparent marketing ploy.
There are numerous things that need fixing and adding. Personally, most important is the ability to record pitchbend, aftertouch, mod wheel, and all other CC parameters. Don’t give me any “memory” excuse; it’s all 8-bit data except the 11-bit pitchbend and aftertouch. There’s absolutely ZERO good reason it’s not there in the first place. I can come up with 20 bass lines right now that require pitch bending. So as it is I have no way using just the KSP to record that then play something else on top of it. Extremely limiting. 90s sequencers could record this stuff. COME ON!! Seriously.

No word. I expect no response. Arturia doesn’t seem to want to address the KSP. I half expect a new model to come out, a MkII, WITH the features and fixes we’ve needed since the beginning.
And if you do THAT? I’m out. No more Arturia for me, after a decade as a customter; most of my hardware is Arturia and my Arturia software is some of my most-used synths. I hope you don’t pull something seriously sketchitty like that.

Still not a word.
Arturia’s customer support sucks festering diseased monkey balls, unless you’re a rich and famous musician. They couldn’t care less about us schmucks that purchased this incomplete and clearly abandoned product.
If you a$$holes come out with a KeyStep Pro 2 without fixing this one, I’m going to start a class-action lawsuit.

… I bet THIS will get a response, since i’m being far from “polite.” This situation is past “politeness” and into “get bent.”

While your post is here, I will respond.

There are other sequencers available that can do what you want. Personally, I dont think KSP is, by design, intended for that sort of use. It is in essence a step-sequencer, not a real-time MIDI recorder.

Perhaps you invested in the wrong product for your needs. We all make mistakes. Why not sell it and find something better suiting your requirements.

HI @artao
I just sent you a PM,

As @Funtmaster suggests, it does sound like maybe you’ve purchased the wrong device for your own needs.
If it’s still under warranty, you MIGHT be able to get a refund or exchange, depending on customer protections in your part of The World, or maybe sell it on and spend a bit of time researching The Market for something more suitable for your own situation.

So “Go spend 400usd on a different one.”
Typical Arturia BS.
This was advertised to do what I want. It cannot record any CC parameters, which is not as advertised. This is false advertising and a blatant refusal to fix it. You are a terrible company and I will never buy anything from you again. You suck. You have the worst customer support in history.
Is is the threat of a class-action lawsuit of my attitude that finally got a response to this?
Shows how facile you twats are. Ban me, I don’t give a crap. This place is useless to me. BUT WAIT! This is Native Instruments site actually, so you can’t. LMAO Suck it.
You are terrible people.

I purchased it before it was actually released. I bought it based on promises and ads. These promises and features were not fulfilled. And now you act like that’s no big deal.
Yep. That’s Arturia for you. “You paid us for it, we don’t care anymore.”
I used to strongly support Arturia software and hardware. I will now steer people away from it. You release products then abandon them.

I do not work for Arturia and neither does @matjones who is a site admin and is likely hovering his finger over the block button as we speak. I do not know what promises were made on product release but, now knowing it does not fulfil them, you can either continue to slag of Arturia and make personal attacks or apologise and quietly disappear.
