Uninstall/Reinstall V11 is not working

This morning I was in Analog Lab trying to edit a SEM V3 preset when I got a message stating that I needed to install a newer version of SEM, but I already had the latest version according to ASC, so I tried to uninstall/reinstall and now it’s completely gone.

I then tried to “Reinstall All” for the V11 collection and watched each product download and install, but none of the icons are showing up - not even Analog Lab.

I opened a support ticket with Arturia but I’m hoping someone here has a suggestion for how to get out of this mess. I’m happy to start from scratch if I have to, but doing that through ASC does not seem possible.

I think, it’s a bug in the setup. Go to Arturia → Downloads → SEM
The shown Version is from 2015! Go to ‘ARCHIV’!!
Download the “SEM V3 / Apr 23, 2025 / v1.0.0.6116” and install.
For me, this workaround works.

Thank you but unfortunately at this point I need more than just the SEM V3. None of the V11 instruments are showing up in /Applications/Arturia - not even Analog Lab. I just downloaded ASC and re-installed it but it doesn’t look promising.

Hi @PBenz. Welcome to the community.

Have you checked the install settings in the preferences Folders and Advanced sections in Arturia Software Center is correct?

Thank you, @LBH .

Yes - those settings were never modified and are correct. The latest reinstall partially worked but did not install Analog Lab V, Augmented GRAND PIANO, Jup-8000 V, Pure LoFi, or SEM V3. I downloaded installed these manually but now not all of them are showing up in Analog Lab.

Have you checked if you have the individual full instruments installed?

If you have purchased and activated the missing products, then i suggest you contact Arturia support through your account. If you do not own the instruments then you will not have all presets available in Analog Lab.

The problem with the presets is likely due to a bug in ASC. I can’t find the link to the thread at the moment, but in this forum somebody pointed out that some instruments incorrectly put the presets one level too deep. For example, the SEM V3 presets were in "SEM V3/Factory/Factory/Factory - one too many "Factory"s! Simply moving the presets one level up caused them to appear.

Anyway, I have a ticket open with Arturia and hopefully they can help me sort all this out. I’m fine with starting over which is what I was trying to do within ASC but that only screwed things up more. I posted in this forum in the hopes that somebody might say something like: “oh just delete file x and reinstall should be fine” or something like that before I heard back from Arturia.

Edit: just found the link to that thread I mentioned: No Patches after installation - #8 by pranaearth
