Unable to register Minilab 3

Dear community,

Yesterday, on September 11, 2024, I received a Minilab 3 purchased as new from the Kaufland.de online store. Upon opening the box, I discovered that the product had already been opened, despite there being no mention of it being a previously unboxed item on the store’s website. My concerns were confirmed when I attempted to register the product on Arturia’s website, and I received the following error message:

“Sorry,
Your registration failed
You have already registered this license, see your ‘My Arturia’ page for the current status.”

I also created a support ticket (Request #983203) with details about my purchase, along with photos of the product’s back (showing the serial number and unlock code) and the registration coupon with the same numbers. However, I haven’t heard back from anyone yet.

Could you please advise if this issue can be resolved, or should I return the product to the seller? I’d prefer to avoid the hassle of sending the product back via courier, as apart from the registration issue, the product seems to function as expected.

Sorry to hear about this, depending on consumer rights in your part of the world, you could have both the options you described, so really it depends on what you are wanting.

If the unit HAS already been registered and it’s a returned item, then you could either wait for Support to get back to you, or simply ask for a replacement from the original vendor.

Gaby from Arturia support was very helpful. She added the licenses for me and even tested with me to make sure they were correctly in place. I’m very grateful to her. :blush:
