Transferring Astrolab Playlists to Analog Lab Playlists

Hi!

Is there a way to transfer Playlists I’ve created on Astrolab into the “My playlist” section of Analog Lab?

Not yet…
I think this will be possible in a future update of AstroLab + Analog Lab.
Not sure when, though.

Currently, you can create Playlists in Analog Lab, and transfer them to AstroLab via a USB thumb-drive. But it’s only one-way.

Needs to be updated asap in my opinion

Yeah, need this asap. I make my presets on the Astrolabe itself when it’s not connected to Analog Lab. it would be great to be able to back them up on a USB stick and save them to my backup Astrolab as well.

Hi! Currently, there’s no direct feature within Analog Lab to import playlists from Astrolab into the “My Playlist” section. However, you can try manually recreating the playlist by saving the same presets or sounds in Analog Lab.

Alternatively, tools like MusConv might help if they support both platforms — it’s worth checking out for more streamlined playlist transfers.

Arturia just pre-announced AstroLab update 1.5 for July 17th, that will add “seamless playlist sync with Analog Lab,” in addition to the new V-Collection 11 instruments.

Any updates on this? I can’t seem to get anything to copy over from my Astrolab to Analog Lab. I really need to back everything up that way I can factory reset my Astrolab and (hopefully) get rid of the problem with the screen blacking out.

This completely works well now:

  1. Create a playlist on your AstroLab
  2. Connect to Analog Lab Pro
  3. Link to AstroLab
  4. View the list of AstroLab playlists (bottom left)
  5. Right click the newly created playlist
  6. Select Add To Analog Lab
