Didn’t you say that more than a year ago?
No, we didn’t. SynthAnatomy said it.
I don’t know who at Arturia gave them this information (probably no one, but hey, maybe), but it was obviously wrong.
They also said a lot of other stuff here:

Please create a thread now, saying that you are waiting for it tomorrow. because it was on SynthAnatomy.
Don’t trust everything you read on the internet.
The update will come, when ready. As of today, it’s not released, so it’s not ready.
Do you want a bugged update ? No. So let us cook please.
Cheers.
Interesting thread. A couple observations: first, I think all of us here love the MiniFreak and are just hopeful that we can see this feature released. Second, I think that communication from Arturia isn’t as great as people would hope for. I know businesses sometimes like to stay quiet and not talk about what they’re doing behind the scenes, but if Arturia is actually working on an update I don’t see the value in staying quiet about it. I think more transparency brings more trust. Anyway, fingers crossed that we’ll have another update coming, and best of luck to the software team working on it if so.
Thanks for your kind message. We are committed to listening to requests and implementing them. I know it can be frustrating when it takes more time than expected, but rest assured we’re working hard on delivering what you need.
Firmware 5.0 has arrived with both custom sample and custom wavetable support.
There are people who have been waiting a long time for that. It’s awesome to see that they finally got around to implement it.
believe me it was quite agonizing for us to “make you wait” while we worked hard on it ![]()
