Sustain behaves strangely when unison is selected

With SQ80 V, Sustain behaves strangely when unison is selected.

Enable unison on a preset, send CC64 > 127 (effectively pressing sustain), hold some notes down.

Sending CC64 > 0 (effectively lifting the sustain pedal) while the notes are still held down, silences the sound. This should not happen. Indeed it does not happen with unison turned off.

This happens with SQ80-V standalone and VST2 and VST3

I have installed the recent update to SQ80 V (now at 1.6.1.4687)

I have already lodged a support ticket 12 months ago (Request #859753) with Arturia support and one of your team members was able to reproduce this.

Can you please let me know when this will be addressed.

I’m so glad it’s not just me! This is hugely frustrating - I thought I was running out of polyphony, but even with no overlapping notes and sustain off events quantised to each 4-note chord change it still happens. What’s more, it appears that this is random - sometimes chords cut out, sometimes not, but I never get a clean take of entire track.

Yes, I could turn off Unison, but then I won’t get the particular sonic character I’m after. BTW, I’ve set Unison to 2 and Poly to 8 (the maximum, producing 8 voices), so 4-note chords without overlaps should only produce 8 voices at a time!

It’s very odd and unpredictable behaviour - I’ve ended up deactivating Unison and used a delay plugin as a workaround.
