Hi everyone, I’m experiencing something odd that didn’t happen on my old macbook m2 pro.
Me and my band play live using Ableton Live. On the first notes I play, on several instruments, I get high cpu spikes that sometime cause audio dropouts. Afterwards it seems to go smooth.
I have different instances of Analog Lab and with every scene I send program change messages to load the proper synth on every new song.
This actually happens also with individual plugins. I use vst3, but it also happen on Logic wi AU (if I look at the CPU window, the bar rises to the top sometimes).
I copied my projects and my presets from my old m2 pro to this m5 pro (I did a fresh install, not from a time machine backup) and I’ve read out about permission and xattr, but with no success.
I tried contacting the arturia support, but I’ve not sorted it out yet. They suggested me to reinstalla analog lab. At first it seemd it worked, but when I tried later nothing changed. They’re looking at my presets file, but it seems to happen also on factory ones.
I’m reading about M5 pro new core architecture, I wonder if I’m the only one.
There are a few synths we use that are considered “legacy” and I select include legay sounds (stage 73, cs 80 v3, jupiter v3, prophet v3) but this issue happens mostly on all the other not-legacy, as far as I could see.
I read that on Tahoe, Arturia wants us to allow ASC full disk access, and I did it.
On my m2 pro I also run Tahoe, almost from day 1, but I never had an issue.
Thanks!
edit: I forgot to add that I use 128 buffer with 48khz sample rate
