Strange Microbrute behaviour with External MIDI Clock

Hello,
I have a lot of fun jamming with the Microbrute. I love to record sequences and transpose it with the keyboard.
Sadly, when I select “Sync: Ext”, pressing the keys begin to act as a “Next step” command, and this with or without a clock signal.
As a result, during the sequence playback if I want to transpose it with the keyboard, a step is skipped or inserted between two clock beats.
I think I tried all parameter combinations but found nothing to disable it, has someone already faced this issue ? And maybe solved it ?

Firmware: 1.0.4
Sequencer parameters: Sync=Ext, Sequencer Play=Hold, Sequencer retrig=None, Sequencer Next Seq=Instant cont, Sequencer step on=Clk, Sequencer step=1/16
Clock source used: Drumbrute Impact (MIDI out: clock only) with MIDI Din cable

Thank you

Seems similar to this problem : Sequencer retrigger fault - it's infuriating (video included)

Firmware 1.0.4.0:
Sequencer Retrig = None (BROKEN)

Firmware 1.0.3.2 (older)
Sequencer Retrig = None now (FIXED)

In both videos I show before and after sending a midi clock. I am playing keyboard notes to see whether the sequence is interrupted. Unfortunately when midi clock is sent with the latest firmware, sequences get interrupted, causing it to be glitchy and horrible. I am only playing a 3 note sequence here but imagine if it were a longer sequence… Makes the unit unusable.

It looks like a regression in the firmware between 1.0.3.2 and 1.0.4.0…
I am quite disapointed…
