A friend bought a keylab–essential-61, which came with a software bundle including an analog lab program it works BUT each time you select something on the keyboard, a woman voice tells you about it which soon becomes boring !
If you click the gearwheel icon at the top right of Analog Lab, then you open the right panel.
Under the Settings tab you find a “Enable Accessibility” switch. be sure it’s off.
It’s a function for sight impaled and it is using your computers settings and voice selection for this help tool.
But seriously, a little more info please. Is this “voiceover” only occurring when using Analog Lab? Is AL being used in a DAW or standalone and does it happen in both?. Is this a Windows or Mac based PC?
As @LBH states, that will stop the voiceover. However, I have this enabled by default it seems and do not get voiceovers. I suspect your friend has Accessibility features enabled elsewhere on a system wide level.
We’ve checked : it works flawlessly, and as a bonus the functions ans state of the various sliders and potentiometers are displayed when selecting the keylab–essential-61, under the MIDI tab !
Now, she “just” has to learn to play the piano wit the for dummies book…
Once again many thanks to you LBH and Funtmaster
