Stereo voice distrib: graduated

Hello friends, can someone please help me understand the function again? What is the option in Stereo Spread The Distribution: graduated. I don’t hear any difference between graduated and centered. Yes, the manual tells me that the volume of individual voices is increasing, but I honestly can’t hear anything. How can it actually be used? Thanks for the responses.

It’s not their volume that changes, it’s their position in the stereo field. There’s not a huge difference between the two settings. “Centered” places some voices dead center in the stereo field, where “Gradual” always places them at least slightly off-center.

Gradual:
◦ Voice 1 sends a -1 value (maximum negative)
◦ Voice 2 sends a -0.6 value
◦ Voice 3 sends a -0.2 value
◦ Voice 4 sends a +0.2 value
◦ Voice 5 sends a +0.6 value
◦ Voice 6 sends a +1 value (maximum positive)

• Centered:
◦ Voice 1 sends a zero value
◦ Voice 2 sends a +1 value (maximum positive)
◦ Voice 3 sends a -1 value (maximum negative)
◦ Voice 4 returns to zero
◦ Voice 5 sends a +0.5 value (50% positive)
◦ Voice 6 sends a -0.5 value (50% negative).

Ok I got it. Thank you very much.
