Sound very different when exporting audio from Cubase

Cubase 13 + MiniFuse 4 ( PC Win11)

Hi there.
Here is my issue : when exporting audio from Cubase ( after a mix), the sound is totally different than the original( EQ whith much more low frequency ) when listening with the minifuse 4.
I tried with another sound card, and the sound is OK ( same as the original before export).
May be it is an Arturia ASIO driver set up issue ?
Or something else ?
Thanks for your help.

Up ? Am i the only one ?

HI @machunmusic and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!

It sounds very much like something in your MiniFuse mixer/control panel isn’t set up correctly.
Unfortunately, i do not own a MiniFuse, but if you can post a more detailed description of your output chain with some pics, that might help people here to diagnose your issue.
Unless you’re physically exporting the output to an external device via your MiniFuse’s audio outputs, then it’s Cubase in effect that’s exporting the mix, you’ll just get audio monitoring from it.

If you could post a couple of exported files too, one from each interface, that could be a huge help too.

HTH!

Hi Mat, and thank you for trying to help me.
There’s not so much setup parameters in the minifuse 4.
I opened a support ticket.
We’ll see …

HI again @machunmusic

Just a quick thought, have you tried altering the buffer on your interface to a higher amount?
Without hearing anything, it’s hard to gauge what your issue might be.

Exported audio doesn’t go through the interface unless you’re sending the final Mix out to be recorded in two other tracks.
Otherwise, the interface has no part in the quality of the audio rendered internally in the DAW (in this case, Cubase).

The interface will affect what you listen while mixing or after rendering but if the interface outputs being used are the same and follow the same path to your monitors, then the sound should be the same unless you are applying some type of processing in Cubase.

Note that Cubase has Monitor Outputs (Control Room outs) and “Master” Stereo Outputs. You can listen to one not being aware of effects or processing present on the other.
You may well be listening to the Control Room Outs before rendering and not hearing some type of audio processing that is being applied in the main Stereo Out (VST, EQ, etc.)

Hello…
I confirm that the interface has no part in the quality of the audio rendered internally in the DAW.
If i listen to an export (done with the MiniFuse4) with an other interface, the sound is exactly the same so, it is a monitoring issue (have nothing to do with Cubase).
Anyway, i did not find solution.

Hi all.

Disabling audio enhancement solved my issue.
Thank you.
