Somehow I've broken the sequencer - MiniFreak V

If I load the factory preset “Auto Melody” by New Loops and press any key on the KeyLab Essential Mk 3 it would continuously play the sequence. Now it only repeats the single key. I do own the full MiniFreak V. If I open the MiniFreak V and look at the sequencer the seq mode is enabled, Sequencer Auto is enabled. If I push play/stop the sequence runs.

The keyboard though only plays a single note repetitively and does not launch the sequence. What’s wrong???

Hi!

Have you checked the ARP / CHORD / SCALE buttons on the KeyLab and made sure they’re off?

Perhaps the KeyLab switched between Arturia mode to DAW mode?

Hi @St3v3 ,

In Addition -

The preset should work when you select it.

The Play/ Stop button can blink, but it shall not be green constantly, when you play a note.

The AUTO button should in this regard not matter if it’s on or off. It’s about following the DAW.

Thank you Joseph! You spotted the problem. The ARP button was accidentally pushed on the KeyLab. Turning that off makes sequences trigger correctly again. Good show!
