Sleep mode issues

I am having an issue with the Polybrute 6. When the synth goes to Sleep it creates a digital type of noise that comes through my Audio interface input and will not stop. I am using an Apogee Duet 3 interface. Is therd a way to disable sledp mode so that this no longef happens?

Thank you everyone!!

Welcome to the forum!

There are only the options of sleeping after 1, 5 or 15 minutes.

The synth shouldn’t do anything like that to the audio, it’s just the display and LEDs that should ‘sleep’. Is the noise loud?

It is not loud but very distracting. I am so confused to what the cause may be. It seems to happen as soon as the polybrute goes to sleep. I am using balanced cables plugged into the Apogee Duet 3 instrument inputs.

OK. I can’t hear anything when the PB sleeps, so a distracting noise is not right. I think maybe the best course of action is to contact Arturia’s support. It might be good to have a recording of how it goes from normal to the noise.

Thank you. I sent a support request. I am just so baffled!

What about headphones
is the noise in the headphone line too?
Any other instrument having those humming/noise issues if connected?
If I search for “Apogee Duet 3 humming noise” I get a few results

One finding: “Anyone using a Duet 3? Digital noise issue”

Good luck
I was once on the hunt of noises in my system - result was a broken “quiet graphic” card without a vent
took me ages to find the cause

Hi

Yes the noise is in the headphone line as well. I am going to buy new 1/4 to xlr cables today to plug them into the line level inputs to see if thaf solves the issue. I currently have the synth plugged into the instrument inputs.
