Short orchestral(ish) piece using only Augmented series instruments

I created a short piece using only Augmented series instruments (all of them except Mallets). Visuals added for fun, made up of unused clips from a forthcoming Detronics project. I’ve only used Augmented Voices on Detronics songs in the past, and even then I just used presets, but this little experiment gave me a chance to play around. I love the tweakability of these instruments, even though I prefer subtle modulation over extreme.

Hello @bigblip

this is a beautiful and harmonious way to showcase the Augmented series.

For my part, it motivates me to follow your approach, as does the fact that you include these two elements:
the musical composition and the originality of the video (by the way, what is its origin).

Thank you for this excellent sharing.

HIGHLY impressive work!
Very cool how yourself, and The Aug series have ‘bridged the gap’, or ‘blurred the lines’ between real world and synthetic instruments there.

@PascalH_HSMR_CIWA That’s very kind of you, thank you

Regarding the video, I play in a band called Detronics. We are close to releasing our second album and we’re producing a couple of videos to support that. The video for this piece (which is not a Detronics song) comprises some clips that we chose not to use. They are generated using Midjourney, using a number of still photographs I made some time ago as the basis for the prompts and style. I’ve added LOTS of effects to the video, as you can see!

I’m really pleased you like it!
